Sunmaster 1000 watt high pressure sodium super high output lamp. Initial Lumens: 150,000 Manufactured to compete with EYE Hortilux brand hps lamps and win in the lumen and increased blue output race. Wow, this lamp is great! Give it a try.
Best lamp for 1000 watt HPS systems we offer.
600 watt SUNMASTER High Pressure Sodium lamp. Initial Lumens: 90,000
Sunmaster High Pressure Sodium lamps are HPS lamps designed to deliver 10% more light than standard grade HPS lamps. This extremely energy-efficient plant lamp provides more energy, which is essential for an optimized photosynthetic response. High Pressure Sodium lamps are used in greenhouses to elevate the red, orange and yellow electromagnetic wavelengths hitting the plant. This (along with shorter photo-periods) signals the plant to start producing bloom hormones. Increased red, orange and yellow wavelengths can produce higher yields and more abundant blooms and fruiting sites when quality plant foods and bloom leaf sprays are used. Look to Vita Grow Thunder Bloom Foliar Spray to increase fruiting sites by at least 20 percent and up to 100 percent when compared to a control group. Indoor gardeners, lacking the Sun, may find that Hps lamps do not supply the necessary amount of blue light to keep plants healthy. Blue light drives photosynthesis, translocates sugars and keeps the immune system working properly. Those growing areas using HPS lamps exclusively in the bloom stages of growth may experience adverse vertical stretching and blooms located only at the top of the plant. It is suggested to burn a Metal Halide lamp along side of the HPS lamp to increase sugar production and horizontal growth and one should emphasize the need for as much side lighting as one can afford. Fruiting sites will not form where shadows fall. Increased insect attack in the final stages of HPS only bloom growth may also be experienced.
Venture 400 watt High Pressure Sodium lamp. Sunmaster is made by Venture but this lamp is not the Sunmaster brand, it is a High Output Venture 400 HPS.
This High Pressure Sodium lamp was chosen to be a grow lamp because its light spectrum is conducive to plant growth. It is the only lamp offered by Venture in this wattage and was the industry standard HPS plant lamp for 30 years. It is designed to deliver the light output of the standard grade HPS lamps that are generally found burning in parking lots and highways. These High Pressure Sodium lamps are used in greenhouses to elevate the red, orange and yellow electromagnetic wavelengths hitting the plant. This (along with shorter photo-periods) signals the plant to start producing bloom hormones. Increased red, orange and yellow wave-lengths can produce higher yields and more abundant blooms and fruiting sites when quality plant foods and bloom leaf sprays are used.

Other options would include using Sunmaster Warm Metal Halide lamps that burn at the 3 thousand Kelvin color temperature range. They have enough red, orange and yellow light to trigger bloom hormones and an ample amount of blue to keep plants healthy and proportional in size.
150,000 lumen and enhanced blue light high output HPS. Looks brighter orange when compared to Hortilux 1000w and I have noticed larger blooms and higher overall yield than any other HPS I have used.
